Welcome to Hong Kong Crossword Club!

The first-ever Scrabble tournament was brought to Hong Kong, jointly by Mattel and Broadlearning, in 2003 though the game of Scrabble was invented some 60 years ago. From 2003 to now, the number of Scrabble competitions has been on the rise. Over the same period of time, most, if not all, Scrabble competitions targeted on students ranging from primary schools to universities.
According to Wikipedia, many of Hong Kong’s large-scale Scrabble competitions are virtually organized by local schools. To name a few, they are S.K.H. St. Michael’s Primary School, Ho Lap College, S.T.F.A. Leung Kau Kui College, C.C.C. Mong Man Wai College, St. Mark’s School, etc…

Mattel and Broadlearning

  Mattel and Broadlearning introduced the first-ever Scrabble Championship in 2003. There are two categories in the competition, namely Primary Category and Secondary Category.
